SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Gezeiten currently ships to the European Union, United Kingdom and the United States. We are aiming to be available worldwide in the very near future.
We are currently unable to ship orders to General Delivery, P.O. Boxes, BFPO or Freight Forwarding Addresses.
All deliveries are managed by our affiliate courier DHL and DHL Express. All shipments sent by Gezeiten are insured against theft and accidental damage. This insurance coverage ceases once the shipment and a written acknowledgement of receipt have been received.
SHIPPING COSTS AND DELIVERY TIME
GERMANY & EUROPEAN UNION
We process and send orders during our main service hours, 7:00 am until 5:00 pm CET, from Monday to Friday. Our delivery time starts from the moment an order is accepted and includes a 24 hour period where your items will be dispatched. Please note that we are closed on German public holidays. Your order will be ready for dispatch one business day after the receipt of payment, at the latest.
Shipping for all orders over €200 is free of charge (premium delivery option only).
Shipping method is DHL Premium within 1-3 business days for 5,95 €.
No additional taxes or customs duties are charged for items which are shipped within the European Union. The items’ prices and shipping costs include VAT and are thus listed as gross prices.

Please note that we are closed on German public holidays. Your order will be ready for dispatch one business day after the receipt of payment, at the latest.
Shipping for orders over £250 is free of charge (premium delivery option only).
Shipping methods are:
DHL Premium within 3-5 business days for £10.00
DHL Express within 1-3 business days for £20.00
For deliveries to the United Kingdom, the UK sales tax (VAT) as well as customs duties and handling fees are included in the price of the item. There won't be any additional charges upon delivery.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
We process and send orders during our main service hours, 1:00 am until 11:00 am EST, from Monday to Friday. Our delivery time starts from the moment an order is accepted and includes a 24 hour period where your items will be dispatched by our warehouse. Please note that we are closed on German public holidays. Your order will be ready for dispatch one business day after the receipt of payment, at the latest.
Shipping for orders over $300 within the US is free of charge.
Shipping method is DHL Express within 1-3 business days for $25.00.
If the delivery times for your order differ from those shown above, we will inform you at checkout. Please also be aware that shipping times can vary depending on customs clearance.
In the case of orders over $800, there may be a further delay of 2-3 business days, as orders of this size must be declared to customs. You will be charged the additional costs associated with the customs declaration of your ordered goods separately.

For all deliveries made to the US over $800, customs duties and handling fees apply and will be included in the total price. Orders under $800 you will not be charged customs duties and taxes.
In some States of USA, additional local import charges and/or duties will apply. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by your country; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. We are unable to advise what the charges will amount to, as these are government charges and the individual making the purchase is responsible for the related costs at each transaction.
Please note that once you have placed an order, it is no longer possible to modify your shipping address or redirect. Should you need to get in touch, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once your order is shipped from our German warehouse, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and a link to track the package. You can check the status of your shipment one to two hours after receiving the email by using the link provided.
If an item is lost or arrives damaged, please notify our Customer Service team at email@example.com for assistance.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
You have the right to withdraw from the contract of purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period begins from the day on which the customer or a third party designated by him/her takes possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, GEZEITEN must be contacted by means of a clear statement about the withdrawal of the purchase contract. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the declaration of withdrawal before the deadline expires.

The right of withdrawal shall be deemed exercised if you return the goods to us within the withdrawal period in accordance with the regulations.
EXCLUSION OF THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
There is no right of withdrawal for contracts for the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.
CONSEQUENCES OF WITHDRAWAL
If the customer withdraws from the contract, all payments received shall be refunded to the customer. The same means of payment used in the original transaction shall be used for the refund, unless otherwise expressly agreed. The costs of returning the goods shall be borne by GEZEITEN.
GEZEITEN may refuse to refund until the goods have been returned or proof of return has been provided.
The products must be returned or handed over to GEZEITEN immediately and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which GEZEITEN was informed of the revocation of this contract. The deadline is met if the customer sends the goods before the expiry of the period of fourteen days.
The customer shall only be liable for any loss in value of the goods if such loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary to inspect their condition, properties and functionality.
When returning an item, package goods securely and keep a record of your return method. We will not be responsible if items are lost or damaged in transit. Shipping costs and return freight charges cannot be reimbursed.
