We collaborate with pioneering marine biotechnology experts on the French Atlantic coast, who apply advanced cultivation methods to grow rare algae and plankton in controlled environments - ensuring exceptional purity, potency, and the protection of marine biodiversity.

Instead of continuous harvesting, single samples are preserved in biobanks and expanded sustainably in photobioreactors, entirely free from environmental contaminants. Every ingredient undergoes 1–2 years of testing to validate both efficacy and ecological responsibility.

Our commitment is verified by leading international standards, including Union for Ethical BioTrade, ECOCERT & COSMOS, and EcoVadis.

At GEZEITEN every formula is created to be safe, gentle, and highly compatible with the skin - without compromising on performance. Developed under the strictest German quality standards, our products are vegan, cruelty-free, microbiome-friendly, and over 95% natural origin. We go beyond the essentials: free from parabens, sulfates, silicones, mineral oils, GMOs, gluten, unnecessary fragrance, allergens, and irritants. We never test on animals and ensure that every step of our supply chain upholds the same cruelty-free commitment, because true beauty respects both people and planet.

CIRCULAR PACKAGING SYSTEM

Beyond The Vessel, the same principles of circularity guide all our packaging.

Up to 90% of primary materials are recyclable or reusable, while 95% of secondary packaging is FSC-certified and printed with plant-based inks. Glass and mono-materials (PET & PP) are carefully chosen to ensure recyclability, durability, and low-emission production, turning every element into a responsible choice without compromising on aesthetics or performance.
FUNCTION & REFILLING

Conceived as a true design object, The Vessel combines aesthetic elegance with intelligent function. At its core lies the refill, designed to be effortlessly replaceable and, together with the lid, to serve as a sleek travel solution. All refills are fully compatible with every Vessel – a modular system for endless mix & match.

Every element is engineered for reusability and minimal waste, creating a seamless experience that transforms conscious consumption into timeless ritual.


STEP 1
To replace the refill, unscrew the cap slightly for leverage, then gently pull off.

STEP 2
Insert the new refill into the base and slowly rotate until you feel it snaps. Then push down firmly until you hear a click.

STEP 3
Screw the cap back on properly.

TRAVEL TIP
For convenience when travelling, take only the refill with the cap and leave the base at home.

Designed as a timeless object of purpose and beauty, The Vessel combines refined aesthetics with practicality. It pairs seamlessly with all GEZEITEN refills and can be reused or repurposed as a lasting design piece.

DISPOSAL Separate from refill and recycle via local PET recycling stream.
Face Cream REFILLS 50 ml

MATERIAL PP (monomaterial) – lightweight and recyclable, minimizing material use while ensuring full compatibility with The Vessel.

DISPOSAL Empty completely, rinse lightly, and recycle via local PP recycling stream.

Combining glass sensoriality with lightweight practicality.
