The scientific team of biotechnologists uses high value-added cultivation technologies to grow plants and algae, in conditions identical in to their natural environments. Only one sample of the marine microorganism or plant is needed for the biobank, which can be reused through successive transplantations.
In addition, photobioreactors make it possible to master the conditions for specific cultures of ancestral microalgae or calcareous algae that could not be cultivated until now.
The biotechnological active ingredients are of absolute purity (free of pollutants, pesticides, GMOs and solvents) in optimal and controlled concentrations, with proven results on the skin.
SUSTAINABLY SOURCED NATURAL INGREDIENTS
GEZEITEN’s scientific team searches for natural ingredients selected for their rarity. Initially cultivated using soilless methods (hydroponics and aeroponics) for the production of seeds, these plants are later propagated and cultivated on a large scale in greenhouses.
In the open sea on the Atlantic coast, inside a private and protected concession, the algae are cultivated on submerged systems to guarantee the survival of the species. This method of cultivation is entirely manual and guarantees an exemplary raw material.

REFILLING THE FACE CREAMS IN ‘THE VESSEL’
STEP 1
Slightly open and lift the lid to remove the empty refill.
STEP 2
Insert the new refill by slowly rotating it until it clicks into place. Then press until you hear a slight click.
STEP 3
Screw the cap back on.

You can also take the 50 ML FACE CREAMs without the base when traveling.

The Face Creams 50 ml are presented in the patented packaging design, as a zero waste packaging designed for a second use.
THE REFILL
For reorders, the refills reduce the average packaging weight by 90%, which significantly reduces the carbon footprint. To further reduce plastic waste, the refills are sealed using a special film sealing process.
JARS AND BOTTLES
The Face Creams 15 ml (travel size), the Serums and Ampoules are made of recyclable glass.
PRODUCT & SHIPPING BOXES
The product and shipping boxes are made from FSC certified paper. GEZEITEN does not use lamination to ensure easy recycling or cellophane to further reduce plastic waste.
