SHIPPING AND RETURNS

GEZEITEN ships internationally to selected countries where our products are legally registered and permitted for import.

Your country, currency, and language are automatically aligned via our location pop-up to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

We process and dispatch orders during our main service hours, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm CET. Orders are prepared within 24 hours after acceptance and will be dispatched no later than one business day after payment is received.

Please note that our warehouse is closed on German public holidays.

All shipments are handled by our logistics partner UPS. Every order is fully insured against loss, theft, and transport damage until delivery confirmation.

Please note that we are currently unable to ship to General Delivery, P.O. Boxes, BFPO addresses, or freight forwarding addresses.

No additional taxes or customs duties are charged for items which are shipped within the European Union. The items’ prices and shipping costs include VAT and are thus listed as gross prices.

For orders above €1,000, delivery may take one additional business day due to customs clearance procedures.

For deliveries to the United Kingdom, the UK sales tax (VAT) as well as customs duties and handling fees are included in the price of the item. There won't be any additional charges upon delivery.

For orders above $800.00, delivery may take one additional business day due to customs clearance.

For certain countries, local duties, taxes, or import charges may still apply upon delivery. These charges are determined by local authorities and are outside of our control. The recipient is responsible for any such costs required to release the shipment from customs.

We are unable to estimate these charges in advance, as they are set by local regulations and may vary per shipment.

DUTIES & TAXES

All international orders are shipped on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, meaning duties and taxes are already included in the price — ensuring a seamless delivery experience with no unexpected costs upon arrival.

In rare cases where DDP is not supported due to local regulations, additional charges may apply upon delivery. These are determined by local authorities and remain outside of our control.

ORDER TRACKING

Please note that once you have placed an order, it is no longer possible to modify your shipping address or redirect.

Once your order has been shipped from our German warehouse, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and a link to follow your shipment. Tracking is usually active within 1–2 hours after receiving the email.

You can track and manage your delivery directly via UPS My Choice, which allows you to reschedule delivery, select a preferred delivery day, redirect your package, or reroute it to a nearby UPS Access Point for collection.

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, UPS will leave a notification and make up to two delivery attempts. After the final attempt, the shipment will typically be redirected to a UPS Access Point near you.

Your parcel will be held there for approximately 5–7 business days. If it is not collected within this period, it will automatically be returned to our warehouse.

Please note that if you choose a safe place delivery option, responsibility for the parcel transfers to you once it has been delivered.

SHIPPING ISSUES & RESHIPMENT

We always aim to ensure that your order reaches you smoothly and securely.

If your shipment is affected by loss, damage, or a carrier-related issue, we will of course arrange a replacement at no additional cost.

In certain situations, such as delivery issues related to address details or unsuccessful delivery attempts, we may need to charge for reshipping. In these cases, our Customer Care team will always review your situation individually and support you with the best possible solution.

To ensure a seamless delivery experience, we kindly ask you to:
- provide complete and accurate address details
- monitor your shipment via tracking
- ensure timely collection if redirected to an access point

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase and are happy to assist with any questions or concerns.

If you wish to return your order, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange, without providing a reason. We will refund the full cost of the item, excluding shipping costs, VAT, and any applicable duties. To initiate a return, please contact our Customer Care team at contact@gezeiten.com

Refunds are processed within 2–5 business days after the returned items have been received and inspected. All returned goods will be carefully examined upon receipt.

Please note that we cannot issue a refund if the products have been opened, unsealed, or used.

When returning an item, please ensure it is securely packaged and that you obtain proof of postage or delivery. GEZEITEN assumes responsibility for returned goods only once they have been received by us. Items lost in transit during return cannot be treated as returned and are not eligible for refund or exchange.
