FOR WHICH SKIN TYPES ARE GEZEITEN PRODUCTS SUITABLE?
GEZEITEN products are safe to use for all skin types. You can find our recommendation on the related product page under “Product description”.
All our products contain our patented Earth Marine Celltech Complex®, a multifactorial skin-perfecting active that support natural healing processes, longevity of skin cells and complexion correction. All in harmony with the skin's own microbiome.
ARE GEZEITEN PRODUCTS NATURAL?
Yes. Because of the evolutionary commonalities between human skin flora and planktonic microorganisms, our ingredients originate primarily from the sea.
Containing ingredients of mainly natural origin (at least 95%) are sustainably-farmed, -sourced and biobank cultivated, achieving high bio-potency, perfecting the natural value chain, and guaranteeing the perpetuation of species. Gezeiten always aim for naturally-derived ingredients, as well as clean formulas. In some cases however we do not exclude non-organic natural ingredients in order to be able to provide higher active formulas and to ensure extraordinary sensoriality of the products. All products are developed and formulated in Germany with the highest quality standard and product safety.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CLEAN?
Yes. Our products are formulated to the highest standards of quality and safety, avoiding controversial, potentially critical ingredients that have negative consequences on health and/or negative impact on the environment.
All products are dermatologically-tested and safe for all skin types.
Utilized active ingredients are non-toxic, free of skin irritants and exclude parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, polysorbates, petrolatum, paraffins, silicone, dimethicone, pegs, BHA, BHT, EDTA, DEA, TEA, MEA, ETA, formaldehyde, mineral oil, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone and artificial colorants.
In addition to the currently banned from being used in cosmetics in the European Union, GEZEITEN has developed an extensive list of an additional materials we do not formulate with. Our ingredients list is constantly reviewed and updated by our external R&D and Consultant experts to reflect emerging safety data and concerns surrounding potential toxicity, allergies, and sensitivities.
ARE GEZEITEN PRODUCTS HYPOALLERGENIC?
GEZEITEN’s products are formulated to ensure minimum instance of allergic reactions, are dermatologist tested and safe also for sensitive skin.
GEZEITEN use a fragrance throughout the GEZEITEN FACE CREAM Day and Face Cream Night to improve the sensorial experience.
However, if you have noticed sensitivity reactions in the past following the use of cosmetic products, we usually recommend customers to test products on a small area such as the slide of the neck or inner arm before first use. If itching or irritation occurs, the product should not be used further. In that case please contact contact@gezeiten.com.
However, keep in mind that breakouts can be an intended reaction for mixing different skincare brands together, some skincare products, especially acne medications, and anything that contains retinol and strong acids (including lactic, salicylic, and glycolic acids).
DO YOU OFFER VEGAN PRODUCTS?
Yes, GEZEITEN Face Cream Day Intensive Anti-Aging, Face Cream Night Intensive Anti-Aging and the Serum Prevention and Protection are 100 % vegan.
ARE GEZEITEN PRODUCTS CRUELTY-FREE?
GEZEITEN does not test on animals at any stage of product development and never will. We also ensure that all parties in the supply chain have also banned animal testing.
Partnering with a certified, award winning skin biology platform, we are committed to alternative and innovative safety testing methods such as skin cell cultures, skin explants or totally new 3D dermis models to eliminate testing of beauty and skincare products on animals.
This access to new modern testing systems allows us to raise the level of the Research & Development even more and give us unique skin expertise to identify and understand our formulations’ anti-aging, moisturizing, firming and other benefits.
ARE GEZEITEN PRODUCTS COMEDOGENIC?
All our products are developed using non-comedogenic criteria to prevent the formation of comedones (blackheads).
DO GEZEITEN PRODUCTS CONTAIN FRAGRANCE?
Generally not, with one exception: the “Fragrance” used in GEZEITEN FACE CREAM Day and FACE CREAM Night is selected for its pleasant scent to ensure a multi-sensory experience but also for its proven tolerability. The concentration is below 0.2 %, and does not contain allergens, which should therefore not cause any irritancy. When fragrance is present in GEZEITEN product, it is indicated in the list of ingredients as “parfum” or “fragrance”.
CAN GEZEITEN PRODUCTS BE USED DURING PREGNANCY?
Our Products are formulated to the highest standards of quality and safety, with a natural, organic and Cosmos certified ingredients.
Our carefully crafted formulas are free from parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, polysorbates, petrolatum, paraffins, silicone, dimethicone, pegs, BHA, BHT, EDTA, DEA, TEA, MEA, ETA, formaldehyde, mineral oil, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone and artificial colorants.
All products have been dermatologist tested and are suitable for all skin types including sensitive.
If you are pregnant or nursing and have concerns, we recommend to consult your qualified healthcare professional of any product and for question related to skin allergies that may arise during pregnancy.
WHAT IS EARTH MARINE CELLTECH COMPLEX®?
GEZEITEN's proprietary Earth Marine CellTech Complex® translates the aquatic origins of the human species into a high-efficacy response to a range of contemporary skincare challenges.
It is a unique formulation of mineral-rich suboceanic spring-water with ocean-derived / marine flora extracts and sustainably-sourced planktonic microorganisms.

WHERE DO GEZEITEN PATENTED INGREDIENTS ORIGINATE FROM?
The active ingredients of the proprietary Earth Marine CellTech Complex® are sourced from Brittany-based leading specialist in marine biotechnology and cutaneous biology. GEZEITEN team of science experts is constantly looking at new innovations and developments, evaluating continuous improvements to the formulations and sourcing of the ingredients.
WHAT ARE GEZEITEN’S PRODUCTION STANDARDS AND VALUES?
Our product manufacturing adheres to the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry. Green chemistry is the approach in chemical sciences that efficiently uses renewable raw materials, eliminating waste and avoiding the use of toxic and hazardous reagents and solvents in the manufacture and application of chemical products.
Every ingredient in GEZEITEN products is certified for sale in the EU, UK and USA. We follow Cosmetic GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) from Cosmetics Europe as well as ISO 22716:2007 and its national translation DIN EN ISO 22716:2008-12 of the highest level.

All products are developed and formulated in Germany with the highest quality standard and product safety.

HOW LONG WILL YOUR PRODUCTS LAST?
The products have been formulated to have a two-year shelf life (hermetically sealed) and all of our skincare products have a period after opening date printed on the packaging indicating our recommended use-by date after opening. Please refer to the little “open can” icon on your packaging.
PACKAGING
IS THE PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?
GEZEITEN is committed to the future wellbeing of life and the environments that support it. Sustainability is built into each stage of GEZEITEN's packaging life cycle.
To reduce environmental impact we strive to use recycled & recyclable materials as well as packaging with refill and multi-purpose solutions where possible.
GEZEITEN components are locally-sourced whenever possible. We carefully choose our supply chain and ensured that our local supplier joined our standards of quality and sustainability. Our manufacturers have committed to CO2-neutral processes including the use of green electricity and eco-gas.
An estimated 95% of the secondary packaging are fully recyclable, and we use FSC Certified paper. An estimated 85% of the primary packaging are fully recyclable.

The Refill will be easy clicked-in & -out into the lower part.

PAYMENTS & SECURITY
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and all other major credit cards as well as Giropay, Klarna Invoice, Maestro, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.
When selecting the PayPal option at checkout, you will be directed to the PayPal site to 'Log In' and review the amount shown before clicking 'Continue'. You will then be redirected to www.gezeiten.com to complete the transaction.
When selecting Klarna option at checkout, you will need to fill out your details. An initial payment will be taken then the remaining 2 installments will be collected 30, and 60 days thereafter.
WHICH CURRENCIES DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept United States Dollar (USD), Euro (EUR), British Pound (GBP).
GEZEITEN currently ships to the European Union, United Kingdom and the United States. We are aiming to be available worldwide in the very near future.
HOW SECURE IS THE GEZEITEN WEBSITE & MY PAYMENTS?
All transactions on this website are processed using a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. We do not have direct access to your payment details.
To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the internet. If SSL is enabled then you will see a padlock at the top of your browser and you can click on this to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration.
You will also notice that when you look at the location (URL) field at the top of the browser you will see it begin with 'https:' instead of the normal 'http:'. This means that you are in secure mode.
ORDERS AND SHIPMENT
WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING METHODS AND POLICIES?
All deliveries are managed by our affiliate courier DHL and DHL Express. All shipments sent by GEZEITEN are insured against theft and accidental damage. This insurance coverage ceases once the shipment and a written acknowledgement of receipt have been received.
We process and send orders during our main service hours, from Monday to Friday. Our delivery time starts from the moment an order is accepted and includes a 24 hour period where your items will be dispatched. Please note that we are closed on German public holidays. Your order will be ready for dispatch one business day after the receipt of payment, at the latest. All orders will be shipped with DHL.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
At this time GEZEITEN ships directly within EU, United Kingdom and all 50 states in the United States. We are aiming to be available worldwide to all location in the future.
Please note our courier cannot deliver to P.O. Box, BFPO or Freight Forwarding Addresses.
ARE TAXES AND DUTIES INCLUDED?
All orders to countries outside of the European Union are shipped on DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis. That means as the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by your country; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. We are unable to advise what the charges will amount to, as these are government charges and the individual making the purchase is responsible for the related costs at each transaction.

For all deliveries made to the US over $800, customs duties and handling fees apply and will be included in the total price.
ORDER STATUS AND TRACKING
We process and send orders within 1 to 2 business days. Once your order is shipped from our German warehouse, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and a link to track the package. You can check the status of your shipment one to two hours after receiving the email by using the link provided.
Please note that once you have placed an order, it is no longer possible to modify your shipping address or redirect.
If an item is lost or if it arrives damaged, please notify our Customer Service team at

CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE AN ORDER?
Our fulfilment center begins processing orders quickly so we aren’t able to accommodate changes to most orders. Please contact our team immediately at contact@gezeiten.com with your order info and we will do our best to address your cancellation request, but cannot guarantee any changes can be made after an order is placed.
Alternatively, we recommend refusing the delivery, and we will provide you with a full refund when it is returned to us (or re-send to the correct destination). For a return label you can reach out to our team and begin the returns process described in the next section.
During times of high order volumes, we are unable to cancel or edit orders. We are not responsible for any address errors or order delays after your package leaves our facility.
IF I AM NOT HAPPY WITH MY GEZEITEN PRODUCTS CAN I GET A REFUND?
All Gezeiten products are proven to deliver results. Our Skin Consultants will be pleased to advise you on how to get the best out of your Gezeiten routine and assist you to your full satisfaction. Please contact our Skin Consultants at contact@gezeiten.com.
We are happy to refund or exchange any product returned within 30 days of purchase, if it is returned in its original state, unused and in original packaging with the hygiene seal unbroken. Please contact our Customer Care at contact@gezeiten.com to arrange to return your item.
CAN I RETURN THE PRODUCT I ORDERED?
We want you to be happy with your purchase and hear any concerns or questions you may have.
Should you need to return your purchase, you have 30 days from receiving your order to arrange your exchange or return without giving any reason.
We will refund you for the full cost of the item minus shipping, VAT, or duties.
To request a refund, simply reach out to our Customer Care at contact@gezeiten.com.
Refunds take approximately 2-5 days to process, after receipt of the returned product.
All returned goods will be examined upon receipt.
We will not provide a full refund if the goods show signs of being unsealed, opened or used.
When returning a product, please package goods securely and ensure you receive proof of postage or delivery. We are responsible for your parcel only once it has been received by us.
Products lost in transit will not be treated as returned and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
