At GEZEITEN, we're constantly researching innovative natural actives in collaboration with biotech researchers. The scientific team uses high-value cultivation technologies to grow plants and algae in conditions identical to their natural environment.

From a single sample of the marine micro-organism or plant, we create a biobank that can be reused through successive transplantations. In addition, photobioreactors allow us to master the conditions for species of ancestral microalgae or calcareous algae that were previously difficult to cultivate.

The biotechnological actives are absolutely pure, free of pollutants, pesticides, GMOs, and solvents, and are formulated in optimal and controlled concentrations to deliver proven results on the skin.

CULTURE PROGRAMS & HARVEST CONDITIONS IN NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

GEZEITEN's scientific team searches for rare natural substances and pioneers innovative cultivation programs.

Soilless methods such as hydroponics and aeroponics are used for seed production, and the plants are then propagated and cultivated on a large scale in greenhouses.

On the Atlantic coast, in a private and protected concession, the algae are cultivated in the open sea in underwater facilities to ensure the survival of the species. This manual cultivation method guarantees an exemplary raw material. Harvesting methods are adapted to the life cycle of the plant and ensure minimal impact on the environment. Shallow boats are used to avoid damaging the reefs, and the algae are cleaned in seawater to reduce water consumption.

The team adheres to fair sourcing practices and studies each raw material for 1-2 years. All active ingredients used by GEZEITEN are scientifically validated and have proven efficacy.

REFILLING THE FACE CREAM ‘THE VESSEL’

STEP 1
To replace the refill, unscrew the cap slightly for leverage, then pull it up.

STEP 2
Insert the new refill into the base, rotating it slowly until you you feel until it snaps into place and then press down firmly until you hear a click.

STEP 3
Screw the cap back on.

TIP
For convenient travel, take only the 50 ML FACE CREAMs, the refill and the lid with you. Leave the base at home.

The Face Creams 50 ml are presented in patented zero-waste packaging designed for a second use.

THE REFILL
For reorders, the refills reduce the average packaging weight by 90%, significantly reducing the carbon footprint. To further cut plastic waste, the refills are sealed using a special film sealing process.

JARS AND BOTTLES
The Face Creams 15 ml (travel size), the Serums and Ampoules are made of recyclable glass.

PRODUCT & SHIPPING BOXES
The product and shipping boxes are made from FSC-certified paper. GEZEITEN does not use lamination to ensure easy recycling or cellophane to further reduce plastic waste.
